The solution involves an Internet environment where
the consumer is given a window of time to register for an activity,
program or event. The software can be a link or attachment to the
business, recreation council or golf course web page. The consumer
accesses the registration function through the same Internet process they
follow today. Time2, Inc. would simply be a button on the web page of
their local program. If the business, recreation council or golf course
does not have a web presence, Time2, Inc. offers web page creation,
hosting, URL link and support for the program, or provide direct access
for program registration through the Time2 website, www.time2signup.com.
Search capabilities are embedded to allow consumers to
query the classes, facilities or days for availability. Once the consumer
selects the registration function, a form is presented to capture specific
information. The individual businesses, recreation councils or golf
courses govern the overall availability and set the rules for waiting
lists, over subscribing and closed periods. Time2, Inc. loads the criteria
to its database and manages the process around these terms through the
internet software application. A consumer
enters all pertinent information to register and pays for their services
using credit/debit cards. Verification is performed on online and
transactions are completed interactively with a follow-up through an
e-mail confirmation.Without internet access, a voice response unit has
also been programmed to allow phone registration. The technology company
maintains real-time registration via the net or phone and works
interactively with in-store registration simultaneously to negate overlap.
